While I understand the financial and safety reasons to limit office-spaces, I think they offer such a perfect opportunity for collaboration. Many of my favorite moments at work are when I struggle with an assignment and tap a coworker for help and then learn something from her. Or vice versa. Or when we are discussing a new and exciting project and then naturally loop in teammates who happen to be within earshot.

I have greatly missed these experiences working from home. While offices may be reduced, hygienic coworking spaces would be a great step forward. At least, I hope so.
